兀兀寄形群动内，陶陶任性一生间。
自抛官后春多醉，不读书来老更闲。
琴里知闻唯渌水，茶中故旧是蒙山。
穷通行止长相伴，谁道吾今无往还。

Standing balanced and firm within moving crowds,
there’s pleasure in taking one’s own path in life.
Retirement from office means many drunken springs,
growing older is calmer when books remain closed.
A zither player’s dearest companion is clear water,
A tea drinker’s old friend is Mount Meng.
Study and hard work have long been my partners,
Who’s to say that I won’t return to that life?
