送君南浦淚如絲，君向東州使我悲。
為報故人憔悴盡，如今不似洛陽時。

Depressed with thoughts of your journey to the Eastern State,
threads of tears see you off at the Southern Banks.
This poem of extreme distress to repay an old friend,
everything has changed since our parting in Luoyang.
