Festival of Clear Brightness

I force drink and cold food in auspicious times, propped desolately against the table wearing a pheasant-feather hat.

The spring waters raise the vessel into the sky, the fog of old age blurs the bank’s flowers.

Graceful butterflies playfully pass the relaxed sail, flocks of gulls lightly descend into the rapids.

White clouds and verdant mountains extend without limit,  my pointed gaze remains northward towards Chang’an.
